LEARN MORE

CyberE71 is an initiative announced by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti at GISEC 2024. This incubation program aims to identify and select students or recent graduates from various UAE universities and provide them with structured opportunities to nurture and transform their ideas into entrepreneurial ventures.

Vision and Alignment with UAE Strategic Plans:

The vision of this incubation program stems from the broader vision and guidance of the UAE leadership. The UAE Centennial 2071 Plan aims to invest in future generations and equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to keep pace with rapid global change, with the goal of making the UAE the best country in the world by its centennial in 2071. In addition, the UAE's National Cybersecurity Strategy aims to create a secure and resilient cyber infrastructure that enables citizens to achieve their aspirations and businesses to thrive. The third pillar is the National Digital Government Strategy. The main goal of this strategy is to foster a broad, cross-cutting government commitment to embedding digital considerations across government strategies. This is critical to ensure that the UAE government is digital by design, with all capabilities, structures, and opportunities integrated at the national level and aligned with the UAE's strategic vision for digital government.

Empowering Future Cybersecurity Innovators:

The CyberE71 Incubation Program will empower and support selected individuals with creative skills to create, protect and deliver the next generation of cybersecurity innovations. It will also help them build startup organizations in the cybersecurity innovation space, showcasing the UAE as a new global hub for creative and forward-thinking organizations to launch and thrive in the future.

Program Structure and Opportunities:

The CyberE71 program includes 6 months of specialized training aimed at refining ideas and developing viable business models to create a minimum viable product (MVP) or pilot during the incubation period. Candidates interested in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship can join the incubation program to start their training even if their idea is not fully developed.
